Xiaomi SU7 gets a Limited Edition Colourway

We have covered the Xiaomi SU7 quite a bit here, and for good reason. The Speed Ultra 7 (yes, that is what the SU stands for) has gained a new limited edition colourway, that I rather unique.

Xiaomi launched the Brilliant Magenta as part of their 15th year anniversary this year. Mind you Xiaomi as a company is 15 years old, but their car division is only a year old. It is insane to see how fast and far Xiaomi has grown considering I was a huge supporter of Xiaomi back then (I owned the Redmi Note 2, Mi 4, Redmi Note 5 and 7). Speaking of their smartphones, Xiaomi also also released a special Xiaomi SU7 theme for its smartphones that fans can download for free from the Xiaomi theme store.

Many traditional car manufacturers don’t offer such a wide array of colours, especially not on mass produced ones like the Xiaomi SU7. The SU7 also exceeded its own sales target for 2024 by selling more more than 130,000 cars date.

In early December 2024, Xiaomi also revealed its second EV will be an SUV that will be sold as the YU7. The new car will be announced Q2 or Q3 this year.
