Starting out 2025 with the Tesla Model Y would seem like a good idea. While there have been many renders and leaks regarding the Model Y Juniper, here’s a video on X showing the camouflaged Tesla Model Y driving in the rain. While it does not seem like much, we can infer a few things.
Apart from the possibility of being launched in the in Q1 2025, the Model Y does emulate the design language of the facelifted Model 3. Here, we can see a new side mirror design, as well the front resembling the Model X and the distinct rear light bar.
Overall, the Model Y Juniper refresh appears to adopt a sleek yet more assertive design, aligning closely with the design philosophy Tesla introduced with the Model 3 Highland facelift last year. The streamlined aesthetics, combined with bolder elements like the new rear light bar, now doubling as a third brake light, suggest that Tesla is refining its design language while maintaining its futuristic appeal.
The Tesla Model Y is for sale in Malaysia between MYR 200 to MYR 300k and we expect the facelift to be priced similarly.
